Sarah Bruemmer
Senior Account Manager
sarahbruemmer@fundraisingpartnersnw.com

Sarah Bruemmer joined Fundraising Partners Northwest in 2005 after six years working in the government affairs department of Microsoft Corporation. Since joining Fundraising Partners Northwest, Sarah has managed fundraising efforts for the Washington State Senate Republican Caucus and Washington Conservation Voters. In addition, she has worked with the Espy Foundation, U.S. Congressman Doc Hastings, the PenMet Foundation, Life Support and the National Asian Pacific Center on Aging. Sarah specializes in fundraising management, strategic planning and event planning.
While working at Microsoft, Sarah coordinated both small and large events with elected officials and VIPs, and is credited with streamlining the planning process for high level events. Sarah also contributed to the development of a strategic plan for the MSPAC, Microsoft’s political action committee, and spent four years educating and recruiting potential MSPAC contributors. She wrote the strategic plan and oversaw Web site content development for Microsoft’s Get Out The Vote campaigns for the 2000, 2002 and 2004 elections. Later in her career at Microsoft, Sarah managed the Freedom to Innovate Network, a grassroots network of Microsoft customers, partners, shareholders and employees.
Before starting her career with Microsoft in 1998, Sarah worked for U.S. Congressman Rick White as a constituent liaison in his Washington State district office.
In 2006, Sarah completed the Fundraising Management Certificate Program at the University of Washington, acquiring valuable skills to better serve FPN’s nonprofit clients. Sarah is also an active member of the Northwest Development Officers Association. She is a lifelong resident of Seattle and a graduate of the University of Washington, where she earned a bachelor of arts degree in psychology. In her spare time Sarah enjoys cheering for her alma mater at sporting events and supporting her community as a Junior League of Seattle provisional member.
Sarah is dedicated to her clients. She is a creative thinker whose passion for her work is the driving force behind a positive attitude and can-do spirit.
