CASE STUDIES: PAC FUNDRAISING
PAC Fundraising
Strong financial support of a Political Action Committee (PAC) is critical to advancing an organization’s political agenda. The professionals at FPN have more than a decade of experience raising funds for political candidates and organizations. We work with PAC clients to develop and execute customized fundraising plans that outline the specific tools needed to achieve mutually agreed upon fundraising goals. Services include:
- Fundraising plan development – develop and manage the implementation of a comprehensive fundraising plan and all of its components, including a structured communications plan, in-person solicitations, events, calling programs and direct mail
- Leadership identification and training – identify key individuals to serve on a PAC steering committee and provide them with the specific training and tools they need for success
- Resource review – conduct a comprehensive resource review to determine prior donor and prospective donor cultivation strategies
- Materials development – develop collateral materials to be used for PAC education and solicitations
- Training – provide on-site coaching to maximize fundraising calls and meetings
- Fundraising management and tracking – work with PAC leadership to develop a system for current donor and prospect tracking; measure success of events, calls and mail; monitor steering committee progress; and follow up on pledges
- Ongoing counsel – work with organization leadership and staff to handle the day-to-day aspects of fundraising, including scheduling calls and meetings and sending event invitations, blast faxes, emails, follow-up letters, etc.
- Performance measurement – conduct regular review of fundraising program performance and adjust the plan when necessary
